Pohjantähti-opisto is a religiously and politically non-aligned folk high school for free cultural work in Kemi. The Folk high school offers teaching in both line and course formats.
The aim of Pohjantähti-opisto is to develop the life management skills, working life and study skills, knowledge of the Finnish language and social knowledge and skills of special groups and students with special needs. The college organizes training for people who need support in their studies and career path.
