You will find a lot to do in Kemi!
There are jogging routes along which to move both on foot and by bike. Cycle along the outskirts of the city and be amazed how the ice melts. In Kemi, you can walk several kilometers along the seafront. At the end of the Mansikkanokka beach, you will find a new fire place where it is nice to stop for snacks. There are also sheds and nature trails all over Kemi.
Kemi citybikes are already available at Cafe Hertta during the cafe’s opening hours mon-fri 8 am to 6 pm , sat & sun 10 am to 4 pm. You can find the bikes in Summer:

-Lumilinna, Mansikkanokka
Rent of a bike is 2€ / 2hrs or 5€ / day. Bikes cannot be reserved in advance. The renter must present a photo ID.
Restaurants
The city has lots of restaurants and as summer approaches, also the summer restaurants are finally opening their doors. For example, the summer restaurant Sataman Valakia in the Inner old harbour is already open! Ther are also some new flavors from Italy. Lunch restaurant Ristorante Da Roberto serves an Italian lunch from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
Culture
The Kemi Gem Stone Gallery, which has been in the Inner old harbour for a long time, is closed and is temporarily out of service. Instead the Comics collection, which has been operated in the same place, has moved to the Kemi Cultural center and is open mon-fri 10.00 am-5.00 pm and sat 10 am – 3 pm. The exhibition is free for visitors. From Kemi Cultural center you will also find Historical museum and art museum. There is an exhibition Taju Kankaalla until may 28. Entrance to the museums is also free and they are open mon-fri 10 am -5 pm and sat 10 am – 3 pm.
Year-round snowcastle SnowExperience365
Even though the snow is already melting at a good pace, you can still admire the magnificent ice sculptures in the year-round SnowCastle. The SnowExperience365 is open mon-sat 10 am – 5 pm.
