Situated near the municipal center, Kallinkangas is an important nature site from both conservational and recreational point of view. The meaning of the nature trail built at Kallinkangas is to steer the trekker’s attention to nature’s events, teach on how to recognize different plants and animals as well as to provide inspiration for wandering in the nature. On the trail furnished with signboards you can familiarise yourself with the characteristics of the nature of Kallinkangas.
On the aproximately 1,7-kilometre round trail, Hiidenpolku, one can see a small kettle hole. The trail focuses on the ground formations of the area. On the longer (aprox. 3,8 km) Linnénpolku route it’s possible to get to know the flora of the area. The routes start and conclude concurrently.
